The First Annual Hocking College Triathlon will take place on December 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held indoors at the Student Center and include a 10-minute swim, a 30-minute bike route and finish with a 20-minute run.   

The triathlon entry fee is $10 for Hocking students and $20 for non-students, and event t-shirts will be included. Registration is requested by November 9 to ensure a t-shirt and spot on the roster. The event is limited to the first 100 participants to register.  Registrants should send estimated swim, bike and run times when registering for an assigned group.  The event is estimated to have an hour and a half completion time.  

The triathlon will feature a staggered start with a new group starting every 15 minutes. The event staff request that contestants arrive 15-30 minutes prior to their event to warm up. Contestants should bring water, towel, swimsuit and change of clothes. Awards will be given in the follow categories, based on age: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-49, and 50+.
