The Nursing Pinning Ceremony for autumn nursing graduates was held Friday, December 20, 2013 in the Student Center. There were 30 LPN graduates and 29 RN graduates for the autumn term. Graduates Mila Rife (PN) and Tabitha Cox (RN) spoke on behalf of their group, then each graduate was pinned by a member of the nursing faculty. The graduates ended the ceremony by reciting the International Nursing Pledge. The pinning ceremony is an old tradition marking the graduate's official beginning of their professional nursing career.
