The S.W.I.M. (Strong Will Independent Mind) Team has announced the line-up for Independent Fest, including Academy Award winning songwriter Juicy J. Independent Fest promises an unforgettable line-up of top-notch talent, which includes Cal Scruby, Mojoflo, Blond, Bfunk, Sweet Lil', Uptowne Buddha, Yizzo, Atari Jones, Dysfunktional Family, Dj Barticus and many more. The first set begins at 12:20 p.m. and Juicy J takes the stage at 11 p.m.

This year's festival will be held at Lake Snowden on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 12 p.m. Lake Snowden is located on State Route 50 in Albany, Ohio.

Shuttles to and from Athens to Lake Snowden will be available. Camping at Lake Snowden is also available.

Independent Fest is produced and organized by S.W.I.M. Team; a collective of Ohio University Alumni, and members of the Athens community. The event aims to celebrate the arts, while creating an environment in which music and culture work hand-in-hand by providing career opportunities and support.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of the Union Street Fire as well as various community organizations that represent the spirit of the festival. There is a zero-waste initiative for this festival and they will host local vendors alongside traditional concession stands for festival goers.
