Verification is the process that the college uses to confirm the data that you entered on the FAFSA. If a student is selected for the verification process, Federal Regulations require that the college confirms the FAFSA data. If your application is selected, the Office of Financial Aid Services is required to collect certain financial documents.
Information from these documents is then compared to your FAFSA information and required updates are made by the college and sent back to the federal aid processor. Financial aid processing will be on hold until all requested information is received so please respond quickly to enable our office to expedite your financial aid awards.
