Arts, Business & Information Technologies

Overview
The School of Arts, Business and Information Technologies (ABIT) is the largest school on the Hocking College campus, housing a variety of programs and all general studies coursework.  In addition to English, Math and Social Sciences, ABIT is home to programs that encompass everything from Addiction Counseling, Art, Design & Marketing, Early Childhood Education, Broadcast Production and Engineering and Music Management.

Accounting and Financial Services and Business Management and Entrepreneurship are included in the popular Business Department.  Computer and Information Technologies include Computer Programming, Interactive Multimedia and Network Systems.

This school also administers programs of interest to students through individualized degrees known Associate of Individualized Study and Associate of Technical Study, Transfer Module, Associate of Arts and Associate of Science.  These programs provide flexibility for students with specific workforce or transferability needs.

ABIT currently provides advising for students participating in University Center, the home for transfer and partnership agreements with four-year institutions where students can take all of their Hocking College coursework and transfer it directly to baccalaureate program.
