- Can I register for spring semester classes during this period?
-
Yes, using WebAdvisor, you can log on and register for classes and pay fees.
Effective spring semester, students must make payment arrangements at the time of registration, and within three business days of registering, must sign and return the Registration Terms & Conditions/Student Financial Responsibility Agreement or their schedule will be cancelled.
Students registering online during Holiday Break will receive a link to the Registration Terms & Conditions/Student Financial Responsibility Agreement by email after submitting their registration. To avoid cancellation of their class schedule, students are required to download and sign the form, then either fax it to us at 740.753.7028 or scan or take a photo of the completed form and email to cashiers@hocking.edu.
Offices reopen on January 2, so students may also choose to return the form at the Cashier's Office no later than January 5. Failure to complete this form in its entirety and return it to us by January 5 will result in the student's spring semester class schedule being dropped!
- What if I discover a restriction on my registration during this period and am unable to register?
-
You may encounter several different types of restrictions when registering online. If you have a financial restriction such as an unpaid fee, parking ticket, etc., or other restrictions that require personal assistance - such as an academic restriction or financial aid restriction - you will have to wait until offices reopen on January 2, 2017.
If a student is on financial aid hold, they must complete a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) appeal for consideration of financial aid. The deadline for the SAP appeal is January 2, 2017. The SAP Appeal form can be found here.
