Hocking College photography students Kendra Warner of Delaware and Shariah Nungesser of Bremen have been selected as “Editor’s Picks” in the first GoBus Photo Challenge.

They join students Kristin Bishop of Guysville, Joshua Kern of Chillicothe and Chelsey Flowers of Junction City, who were previously selected.

Hocking Staff member Lisa Sells has also been selected.

The purpose of the Photo Challenge is to capture images of Ohio through the lenses of people who have lived, worked, or played in and around the urban and rural centers connected through the new GoBus intercity service.

Contestants can enter up to five photographs in each of our four categories: Urban Ohio, Rural Ohio, Natural Ohio and Ohioans. Forty finalists will then be selected, ten from each of the four categories, by February 28, 2011. From these 40 finalists, four category winners will be selected on March 1, 2011. The winner in each category will be awarded $500.
Visit the “Editor’s Picks” area of the GoBus Photo Challenge before January 8, 2011 to view the Hocking students’ wining entries.
