Graduation Award Nominations
Nominations for the following awards are now being accepted:

One-Hocking Graduation Award
Presented to one graduating traditional student and one international student who through their actions and involvement have made a significant impact on cross-cultural understanding at Hocking College.

Richard Elston Award
In memory of Richard Elston, a former Hocking College Student Senate president. This award recognizes a graduating student whose outstanding leadership has positively impacted the Hocking College community.

Student Life Award
This award is presented to any graduating student who has exemplified dedication and commitment to improving the quality of student life for all members of the Hocking College campus community.
 
Please send nominations to Giles Lee.  Please include the name of the person that you are nominating, a description of the project and when it took place. State the award that you would like to see received.  Feel free to include photos, videos, thank you letters or other materials.

STARS Awards Nominations
STARS (Student Team and Academic Recognition System) will be held on May 30, 2012, at 7 p.m. in the Student Center Multiplex.  We are now accepting nominations in following areas:

Green Award
This award will be given in recognition of outstanding efforts in the area of sustainable, renewable and environmental issues and the education thereof.

"We Are One Hocking" Award
This award will be presented in recognition of outstanding efforts in the area of cross-cultural education and or community unification.

Most Outstanding Impact on Campus and Community
This award will be presented to recognize a project that made an outstanding impact on campus and or community during the previous quarter.

Please send nominations by e-mail to Giles Lee. Nominations should include the name of the group or person nominated and a description of the project that includes the date that the project took place.  Feel free to include photos, video, evaluations and references in the nomination e-mail.
