Jeanie R. Addington, of Perry County, was selected to serve on the Hocking College Board of Trustees on Thursday, February 5, 2015 by a caucus of school board presidents from Athens, Hocking and Perry counties.

She will complete the unexpired term of Joseph Ogden, of Perry County, who resigned from the board before the completion of his term.

"As a lifetime Perry County resident and business professional, I am excited for an opportunity to contribute to the mission and growth of Hocking College," Addington said in her application for the position.

Addington is a Certified Public Accountant with JC & Co., and the first female partner in its nearly 60-year history. She is a lifetime Perry County resident and a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Pre-Law and a master's degree in Business Administration.  

She has also served on several boards, such as New Lexington School Board, Tri-County Joint Career Center, Ohio University-School of Business: Accountancy Board, Cameo League Affiliated with the Lancaster Festival and Orange and Black Boosters of Perry County, Inc.
