Have you dreamed about being an entrepreneur? Ohio University's Innovation Center will be hosting StartUp Weekend Athens from Friday, March 13 at 5:30 p.m. through Sunday, March 15 at 6 p.m.

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams form around the top ideas, as determined by popular vote, and then it's a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback. 

The first place prize idea will win a prize pack worth $3,635.  Second and third pace prize packs will also be awarded.
