Hocking College Equipment Operations Classes at Perry Campus installed a walking path at Chieftain Elementary during the summer of 2013.

With Google Earth updating their images, the results of this joint project can now be seen. Project partners included Hocking College (construction), Kilbarger Construction Inc. (stone), L.A. Horn Construction (pipe, fabric), Mike Berry (survey), Savings Hardware (compactor) and Chieftain Elementary PTA (idea for project).

The equipment operation classes at Nelsonville and Perry Campuses are continually working on community projects. The most recent projects for the Perry Campus are a water drainage project for the Perry County Fair Board and Commissioners at the fairgrounds and the completion of an ephemeral pool at Lost Run near New Straitsville, Ohio.

The Equipment Operations classes are being offered at the Perry and Nelsonville campuses year round, including Summer Semester.
