Experience Appalachian heritage crafts at Hocking College. Summer 2015 classes will be offered during the upcoming Nelsonville Music Festival, May 29 - 31.

 

Classes will cover a wide variety of artistic topics. Classes include:  

• Introduction to Glass Blowing
• Flame Worked Glass
• Fused Glass Jewelry & Slumped Utilitarian Wears
• Taste of Glass
• Painting: Landscape Painting + Oils
• Whistles, Rattles & Ocarinas
• Make a Hand Puppet
• Photographic Artists Workshop "Evidence of This Process".

All classes will take place at the Visual Arts Center and range in price from $20 - $150. Anyone is invited to participate; participants under 18 require parental consent. The glass classes require closed toe shoes.
