Through the Perkins Grant process, Hocking College's School of Nursing has received funding for needed beneficial equipment that will be utilized to develop skills and advance the technology in the nursing program.

The grant will fund a purchase of six CTO EliteBook 847p Hewlett Packard Commercial PCs that will allow students the capability of interacting during scenarios in the simulation lab. The grant will also fund a purchase of lab equipment such as a medium-fidelity manikin and female/male body parts that are adaptable to the current static manikins, as well as wound care assessment sets.

The grant will contribute to continued growth in the Nursing program and encourage faculty to engage in creative and innovative learning strategies.
