The Hocking College Board of Trustees has announced three finalists for the presidency of Hocking College and the schedule for open public forums and receptions for each candidate. The finalists are Col. Chad Breeden, Dr. Ryan McCall and Dr. Betty Young.

Andrew Stone, chairman of the Board of Trustees said, "I want to strongly encourage all members of the college community and the public at large to participate in the open public forums, to meet the candidates and to share your impressions with the Board of Trustees. You will receive a feedback form at the open forum. Submit the feedback form to the moderator before you leave the forum so that the collected forms can be shared with the Board of Trustees as part of our deliberative process."

Open public forums will be held in JL 195 and are scheduled as follows:

  •     Dr. Ryan McCall - Thursday, April 23, 10 - 11 a.m.
  •     Dr. Betty Young - Friday, April 24, 3 - 4 p.m.
  •     Col. Chad Breeden - Monday, April 27, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Board also invites college and community members to meet each candidate at a reception. The receptions are open to all parties, and the Board  encourages this opportunity to meet and greet our prospective presidents. All receptions will be held at the Inn at Hocking College.

Receptions are scheduled as follows:

  •     Dr. Ryan McCall - Thursday, April 23, 5 - 6:30 p.m.
  •     Dr. Betty Young - Friday, April 24, 5 - 6:30 p.m.
  •     Col. Chad Breeden - Monday, April 27, 5 - 6:30 p.m.
