The letter from Erica Berg, the Volunteer and Community Engagement Associate, noted:

“Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy recently … recogniz[ed] partnering landowners and the volunteers who do so much to help us in our mission of conserving the amazing land and water resources of western North Carolina. In December, you all came and served alongside Richard Barnhart, removing trash and debris from the Bearwallow Mountain Trail. Twenty volunteers performed 70 hours of service to us that day, and … I wanted to thank you personally. Your help was greatly appreciated.”

Kudos to the Ecotourism program! Whether in town or in North Carolina, this group believes in protecting our resources!
