Function Provide tutoring for students in local grade schools (grades 1-8) in the areas of reading and/or math. Must have eligibility for the Federal Work Study Program to participate. Position pays $2 more per hour than on campus positions.

  • Knowledge and operation of equipment in the lab/classroom area, Attention to detail
10% Assist classroom teacher with various clerical tasks.

Minimum Requirements
  • Enjoy working with elementary - age children
  • No criminal record
  • Must be workstudy eligible (please check with Financial Aid office for verification)
  • Must have own transportation
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week, throughout each academic term. Monday through Friday, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress standards each semester to maintain eligibility to work
Technology Preferred

Education major preferred but any provided criteria above is met.
